Salman Khan Under Heavy Security After Tiger Shroff Firing Incident
New Delhi, October 21, 2026
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina Airport on Tuesday amid heightened security following the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu. The actor’s airport appearance, accompanied by armed security personnel and his longtime bodyguard Shera, comes as authorities continue investigating the shooting and strengthen security arrangements around Khan’s residence in Bandra.
Videos circulating on social media showed Salman arriving at the airport with his security convoy. Dressed casually, the actor briefly acknowledged photographers and fans before heading towards the terminal. Meanwhile, security outside his Galaxy Apartments residence has been stepped up, with police personnel in bulletproof jackets and police vehicles deployed in the area.
According to Mumbai Police, the firing took place around 7 pm on Sunday when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in Juhu. The accused allegedly opened fire at his car, leaving his driver injured, while Tiger escaped direct gunshot injuries. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that the actor’s vehicle was targeted as he was leaving the club premises.
In connection with the case, Mumbai Police has taken custody of three suspects arrested in Rajasthan’s Kota. A local court granted a 48-hour transit remand, allowing Maharashtra Police to bring the accused to Mumbai for further questioning. Investigators are now examining the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the suspects’ alleged involvement in the incident.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger’s residence on Sunday night and said the actor had suffered injuries to his left hand from gunpowder and glass fragments. He added that Tiger and his mother, Ayesha Shroff, were shaken by the incident and assured them of the state government’s support. "Strict action will be taken, and threats against public figures will not be tolerated," Shinde said. The investigation continues as authorities work to establish the full sequence of events, while security measures remain heightened following the shooting.
