Yogi Adityanath Praises PM Modi’s 12-Year Governance Journey
New Delhi, May 26, 2026
Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 12 years in leadership has once again brought attention to the government’s development-driven agenda and its push toward a self-reliant India. The milestone reflects a period marked by welfare schemes, infrastructure growth, and efforts to strengthen India’s position on the global stage, while also shaping the country’s political and economic direction over the years.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised PM Narendra Modi and said that development, public welfare, and the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” have received a new dimension under his leadership. He described Modi as the “world’s most popular leader” and credited his government for enhancing India’s global image through reforms, welfare initiatives, and long-term policy decisions aimed at national growth.
During the past decade, the Centre has focused heavily on infrastructure projects, digital transformation, self-reliance campaigns, and economic reforms. The “Atmanirbhar Bharat” mission, in particular, has emphasized domestic manufacturing, innovation, and reducing dependence on imports while encouraging India’s growing participation in the global economy.
The completion of 12 years in office has reignited discussions around the impact of the Modi government’s governance model and future roadmap. Supporters see the period as a phase of rapid transformation and stronger national confidence, while the milestone is also expected to influence political conversations ahead of upcoming elections.
