Maharashtra Teen’s Instagram Message “End Is Beginning” Precedes His Death by Suicide
New Delhi, November 16
An 18-year-old boy from Solapur, Maharashtra, died by suicide shortly after updating his Instagram bio with the words “End is beginning” and posting a deeply emotional message that hinted at hopelessness and withdrawal. The boy, identified as Yogesh Ashok Khyage, lived in Sushil Nagar and worked at a local bakery. His family—his father, who works as a watchman, his mother and younger sister—had gone out to visit a relative on Saturday. When they returned home, they found Yogesh hanging and immediately rushed him to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Moments before taking the extreme step, Yogesh uploaded an Instagram story that read: “Marne se pehle sabke dilon se utar jaana hai mujhe, taaki mere marne ke baad koi mujhe yaad na kare”—a heartbreaking message expressing a desire to disappear from the minds and hearts of people so that no one would remember him after he was gone. He also edited his Instagram bio to say, “The end is the beginning of existence.” These messages are now key elements of the police investigation.
According to neighbours, Yogesh was quiet but polite, and no one imagined he was struggling internally. His family is shattered, unable to understand how things reached this point without any warning signs they could recognise. Police have launched a full inquiry to determine what may have pushed him into such deep distress—whether personal issues, emotional struggles, social pressure, or something else entirely.
Investigators are speaking to friends, co-workers, neighbours and relatives to piece together the last few days of Yogesh’s life. His phone and social media accounts are also being examined for clues, including conversations or posts that might reveal what he was going through emotionally.
This incident has shocked the local community, reminding many of how unseen emotional struggles can be, especially among young people. Mental health issues often remain hidden until it’s too late, and the tragedy has sparked conversations about awareness, sensitivity and support for teenagers who may be silently battling inner turmoil.
