India, Venezuela Renew Push for Stronger Bilateral Relations

New Delhi, June 4, 2026


Strengthening international partnerships remains a key aspect of India's foreign policy, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's meeting with Venezuela's Acting President Delcy Rodriguez reflected a shared commitment to expanding cooperation. The discussions focused on enhancing engagement and exploring new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.


During the meeting, Jaishankar reaffirmed India's commitment to deepening bilateral ties and welcomed continued dialogue with Venezuela. Both sides reviewed the progress of their relationship and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation across sectors of mutual interest, including energy, trade, investment, healthcare, and other strategic areas.
