Dhamaal 4 Begins Box Office Journey on a Positive Note
New Delhi, July 11, 2026
Dhamaal 4 has kicked off its theatrical run with a solid opening, reflecting the enduring popularity of the comedy franchise and its ensemble cast led by Ajay Devgn. The film has attracted audiences on its first day, delivering a promising start at the box office while setting the stage for its weekend performance.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film collected ₹13.75 crore (India nett) on its opening day. Its India gross collection stands at ₹16.50 crore, while it added ₹5 crore from international markets, taking the worldwide gross to ₹21.50 crore. The film witnessed a steady rise in audience turnout as the day progressed, recording an overall occupancy of 24.5%, including 8.3% in morning shows, 19.1% in the afternoon, 24.8% in the evening, and 42.2% during night shows.
In terms of opening-day collections, Dhamaal 4 performed better than Ajay Devgn's recent releases Azaad and Runway 34, but remained behind its predecessor Total Dhamaal. It also opened below Akshay Kumar's recent release Welcome to the Jungle. Reviewing the film, Filmfare awarded it 3 out of 5 stars and wrote, **"The biggest issue is exhaustion. Every scene aims for maximum volume. Every joke arrives at full speed. Every chase tries to top the previous one. The film rarely allows audiences to breathe, making the relentless barrage of shouting, running and crashing increasingly repetitive. Comedy often benefits from rhythm; Dhamaal 4 mistakes volume for momentum. Yet complaining about logic in a Dhamaal film feels slightly absurd. Nobody buys a ticket expecting sophisticated storytelling. They come to watch grown men behave like escaped inmates from a particularly chaotic circus, and on that front the film delivers exactly what it promises."
With a healthy opening and stronger evening and night occupancy, Dhamaal 4 has made an encouraging start at the ticket windows. The coming days, especially the weekend, will determine whether the comedy entertainer can maintain its momentum and build on its opening-day performance.
