Delhi-NCR Transforms into a Slice of Seoul at Korea Street Fair 2025

New Delhi | November 18, 2025

Over the weekend, Delhi-NCR got a vibrant taste of South Korea as Aerocity’s Worldmark turned into a lively mini-Seoul for the Korea Street Fair 2025. The three-day festival, organised by the Korean Youth Commerce Association in India (KYCI), brought together food, music, fashion, and culture, giving fans a fully immersive experience of Korean lifestyle without ever leaving the Capital.

Around 70 stalls covered everything from Korean street food and desserts to beauty products, lifestyle items, and K-pop merchandise. Visitors were welcomed into different themed zones based on famous Seoul neighbourhoods, each offering a unique glimpse of life in South Korea.

The journey began with a dramatic entrance at the Gwanghwamun-themed gate. As people moved ahead, they entered Seongsu Street, known for its cool and creative fashion scene. Hongdae Street, inspired by Seoul’s youth hotspot, pulsed with energy through audience-led K-pop performances and dance stages. In another corner, the Myeongdong-inspired zone was packed with skincare stalls, beauty brands, trendy outfits, and accessories. The final stop, Han River Park, provided a calm and scenic end to the entire Seoul-style journey, creating the feeling of a weekend walk by the iconic river.

Live performances added even more excitement. Traditional Korean drum acts like Samulnori mixed with energetic K-pop troupes, pulling crowds into the rhythm of Korean culture. Everywhere you looked, people were snapping pictures, trying food, or picking up souvenirs that felt straight out of Seoul.

Visitors had a lot to say too. Delhi University student Aryan Akif, who came with his friends, shared how the festival made him feel like he was suddenly transported out of Delhi. He said the event might even bring him back to watching K-pop and K-dramas regularly. Sisters Aisha and Aisha (yes, both with the same name) enjoyed taking part in the popular dalgona candy challenge and exploring the cultural elements on display. They felt the event offered a genuine taste of Korean traditions and lifestyle.

Even Air India cabin crew members—Silvia Athokpam, Saknaibi Chungkham, and Priyanka Akoijam—who have visited South Korea multiple times, found themselves excited to shop for one very specific thing: skincare. Priyanka laughed as she said that Korean beauty products were always at the top of their list.

The Korea Street Fair 2025 drew huge crowds, especially young people, all eager to dive into the world of Korean entertainment, food, and trends. With its colourful stalls, lively performances, and beautifully recreated Seoul streets, the festival proved just how deeply K-culture has connected with Indian audiences. For three days, Aerocity wasn’t just Delhi—it truly felt like Seoul.
