As India continues to strengthen its position in the global innovation landscape, the upcoming Bharat Innovates 2026 event reflects a broader push toward international collaboration in technology, research, and entrepreneurship. The initiative highlights how strategic partnerships are increasingly becoming central to shaping future economic and scientific growth.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron are set to jointly inaugurate Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, France, on June 14. Organised under the India–France Year of Innovation 2026 framework, the event is designed to connect India’s emerging innovation ecosystem with global investors, institutions, and industry leaders.
The programme will bring together around 120 Indian innovators, representatives from 15 higher education institutions, and hundreds of investors, business executives, and technology experts from across the world. Key focus areas include advanced computing, semiconductors, space technology, biotechnology, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing.
More than a showcase of ideas, the event aims to create opportunities for long-term cooperation through investment, technology partnerships, and international market access. Prime Minister Modi’s visit is also expected to include bilateral discussions with President Macron on strategic and global issues, reinforcing the growing depth of India–France relations.
