Ladakh, May 1, 2026

Ladakh is set to host a significant spiritual event with the public exposition of Lord Buddha’s sacred relics, reflecting India’s deep-rooted Buddhist heritage and its message of peace. Timed around Buddha Purnima, the occasion is expected to draw devotees and visitors from across the country and beyond, making careful planning essential.

The sacred relics, brought from the National Museum in Delhi, are being displayed for public viewing in Ladakh, offering devotees a rare opportunity to pay their respects. The exposition will take place over multiple days, allowing wider participation in this spiritually significant event.

Beyond its religious importance, the event showcases India’s cultural legacy and promotes the universal values of peace and harmony associated with Lord Buddha. With detailed preparations underway, the initiative aims to create a meaningful and well-managed experience for all visitors.
