Yogi Adityanath Experiences Japan’s 501 km/h Maglev, Calls It a Glimpse of the Future

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath experienced Japan’s cutting-edge SCMAGLEV train during his visit to Yamanashi. The next-generation high-speed train is designed to reach speeds of up to 501 km/h and is seen as a major step forward in modern rail transport.

Sharing his experience, the Chief Minister said the train briefly touched a speed of 501 km/h during the ride. Despite the extraordinary pace, he noted that the journey was smooth and stable, reflecting Japan’s focus on precision engineering and advanced infrastructure.

He highlighted that the SCMAGLEV system represents the future of clean, efficient, and technology-driven mobility. According to him, such innovation shows how long-term planning and investment in infrastructure can redefine public transport.

Calling the experience inspiring, Yogi Adityanath said that when technology moves at such speed, the future feels much closer. He added that Japan’s commitment to innovation offers valuable lessons for countries looking to modernize their transport systems.
