A shocking incident came to light in East Delhi on Monday evening after a 25-year-old man allegedly killed his mother, sister, and minor brother at their home in the Laxmi Nagar area and later surrendered at a nearby police station. Police officials said the accused also told them that he had taken a term life insurance policy worth approximately ₹1.5 crore. He further claimed that he had made multiple attempts to end his own life over the past two months, but was unsuccessful. The accused also alleged that his mother had confronted him a day before the incident, though police said this claim is being checked as part of the investigation.
