Fresh allegations of exam paper leaks in Punjab have triggered a political confrontation, with the BJP taking the issue to the national capital. Party leaders and workers staged a protest outside the AAP headquarters in Delhi, demanding accountability and an investigation into the alleged irregularities. The development has drawn attention as the AAP had earlier criticised the Centre over the NEET paper leak issue and supported protests on the matter.

The protest was led by Delhi BJP chief Harsh Malhotra along with MPs and senior party leaders, who accused the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government of failing to protect the interests of students. Security was tightened around the AAP office as police deployed additional personnel during the demonstration. Earlier, Punjab BJP chief Kewal Singh Dhillon demanded the immediate resignation of the state's Health Minister and Education Minister over the alleged paper leak issue. "I have said before also that they are liars. They say one thing and do another. Everyone knows that the paper has been leaked. The state's health minister and education minister should immediately resign," Dhillon said.

The BJP has continued its campaign on the issue, with its MPs also protesting inside Parliament and seeking the resignation of Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains. Shiromani Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into 11 alleged examination scams during the AAP government's tenure in Punjab. The Akali Dal has claimed that several examinations, including the Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test, the Class 12 English examination and the pharmacy officer recruitment test, were affected, impacting lakhs of aspirants. The Congress has also alleged that at least four paper leaks took place under the AAP government.

The Bhagwant Mann government has denied all the allegations, rejecting the opposition's claims. With political parties intensifying their attacks over the issue, the controversy has emerged as another major flashpoint in the debate over examination integrity and governance in Punjab, while demands for accountability and a fair investigation continue to grow.
