Viral Leak Claim Rejected as NEET Re-Exam Ends Smoothly

New Delhi, June 22, 2026

Amid heightened public attention around examination transparency, authorities moved quickly to address misinformation surrounding the NEET-UG re-examination. The focus remained on maintaining confidence in the process and preventing unverified claims from influencing candidates and families.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) dismissed a viral video circulating online that alleged the NEET-UG re-examination paper had been leaked before the test. The agency described the content as fake and clarified that the claims had no factual basis.

According to officials, the re-examination was conducted successfully under strengthened monitoring and security arrangements. NTA stated that no official complaints connected to any fresh paper leak were reported after the examination process concluded.

The development comes as authorities continue efforts to counter misleading information during major national examinations. With the re-exam completed, the agency urged students and parents to rely only on verified announcements and official communication channels for updates.
