PM Modi, Rajnath Singh, and Other Leaders Extend Birthday Wishes to Amit Shah, Laud His Role in Strengthening India’s Internal Security

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several prominent political leaders extended warm birthday wishes to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday, applauding his remarkable contributions to public service, his leadership, and his enduring efforts to enhance India’s internal security.


Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Modi praised Shah’s unwavering commitment to the nation, calling him a tireless worker and a key figure in fortifying India’s internal security framework. “Birthday greetings to Home Minister Amit Shah Ji. He is widely admired for his dedication to public service and hardworking nature. He has made commendable efforts to strengthen India’s internal security apparatus and ensure every Indian leads a life of safety and dignity. Praying for his long and healthy life,” PM Modi wrote.


Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also took to social media to extend his greetings, describing Shah as a leader of immense determination and discipline. “Heartfelt birthday wishes to our colleague in the Union Cabinet, the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. Naturally extremely hardworking and endowed with strong determination, Amit ji is working with complete zeal to strengthen India’s internal security and ensure peace and stability in the country. I pray to God for his long life, excellent health, and continued success in the service of the nation,” Singh posted.


Union Minister Nitin Gadkari joined in the wishes, stating, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to my colleague in the Union Cabinet, Shri @AmitShah Ji. I pray to God for your good health, long life, and a blissful life.”


Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta lauded Amit Shah’s decisive leadership and his contributions to national unity. She wrote, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Hon’ble Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji. Your extraordinary determination and dedication to the country’s internal security are exemplary. Under your leadership, the nation has witnessed the end of Naxalism’s dominance and the historic abrogation of Article 370, reviving the spirit of a united India. Your visionary guidance and worker-friendly nature are a constant source of inspiration.”


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his greetings, calling Shah the “architect of India’s internal security.” In his message, Yogi wrote, “Heartfelt birthday greetings to the esteemed Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji, the popular mass leader and architect of the country’s internal security, for his remarkable synergy of discipline, diligence, and organisational skills. I pray to Lord Shri Ram that you attain excellent health, long life, and continuous fame. May your journey in national service continue to benefit the people.”


Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar echoed similar sentiments, extending his best wishes for Shah’s good health and long life.


Born in 1964, Amit Shah is regarded as one of the chief strategists of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the party’s electoral successes and policy direction. His tenure as Home Minister has been marked by significant reforms, including the abrogation of Article 370, counter-Naxal operations, and initiatives promoting cooperative federalism.


Across Gujarat and other parts of India, BJP workers and supporters celebrated Shah’s birthday through community welfare initiatives such as blood donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and cultural programmes, underscoring his influence and the admiration he commands within the party and beyond.
